Time flies!

Well, it's almost time for me to go back to work.  Something I have been dreading for a while.  As soon as the month of April hit, the word "work" became profanity to me.  I go back to work on April 30th and I'm just not ready!  I have been home for almost 15 weeks.  I am extremely grateful that I have been able to stay home for this long (I only got 8 weeks with Kambry). It has been such a tease to be a Stay at Home Mom for a few months.

Things are starting to change in the Morris household.  Last week we found out that Kambry moves into Pre-K by the end of May.  She is SO excited.  We attended our first function from her school friends over the weekend.  It's so strange to do things with people that you don't know when you're used to knowing EVERYONE.  I know I've preached about this before, but when you have kids, living in a small town is so much easier - don't take it for granted you Corsicans!  Kambry also had dance pictures last week, which was fun.  Her first dance recital is in May.  I'm going to be on the front row with a box of tissue!

We're also taking her to her first concert - The Fresh Beat Band - in two weeks.  Oh!  Kambry got a "big girl" haircut!  I didn't get to stay and watch her get it cut because Kohen was hungry so she had a salon day with Daddy...but as soon as I heard the garage door go up, I ran outside! When she stepped out of the car my jaw dropped!  With something that seemed so routine as a haircut, she instantly went from toddler to little girl.  I looked at Michael and said, "I think I'm gonna cry!" He said, "You ARE!"  My sweet little girl is just growing too fast.

Kohen is growing too fast, too!  He is SUUUUCH a Mama's boy, ALREADY!  I'm not sure how it happened.  He just thinks that I am the coolest thing since sliced bread. Sometimes I'll get that feeling that someone is staring at me and glance over at him - and there he is, just giving me the biggest gummy grin you've ever seen!  If someone else is holding him and he hears my voice, he practically breaks his neck trying to turn around to find me.  It's so sweet!  He starting cooing and "talking" around 5 weeks and we've even gotten a few laughs out of him.  He is a really happy baby.  Kambry is the biggest helper!  She loves her little brother so much. She gets so excited when he smiles and "talks" to her.  At his 2 month check-up he had grown 3 inches (24") and weighed 12 pounds.  Everyone tells me that he is "such a big boy!" but he's just in the 50th percentile for weight and 80th for length, so he's not THAT big.

We are starting the search for land/a house to move into (permanently) over the next year.  We are here until April of next year so we have to figure out what city/school district we want to move into because Kambry will start Kindergarten next August!!!

Is it just me or is our life constantly hectic and ALWAYS changing?
