Hey!Sorry it’s taken me so long to send you an actual email. I rarely get time at my computer and it’s too much to type on my phone. Ashley {thanks for lighting my fire Ash!} has been on me about getting more sales. I just haven’t had time to do it, plus everyone I know is selling this stuff – so it’s hard to find people that don’t already know about it.Anyway – in all seriousness, I love these shakes. With me being pregnant, I obviously am not able to go on a weightloss program, so I drink one shake per day for the nutritional value. Michael and I have the Shape Kit on auto-ship because he drinks one shake and I drink one... the shape kit is basically 2 shakes per day for a month. So if you are interested in it then you would get the Balance Kit – if you and Greg want it solely for Nutritional value you would do the Shape Kit. If he wants to lose weight, you’d do the Shape Kit and the Balance Kit. The other two kits are for either hardcore workout type people or people that are trying to lose major poundage.Why do I like it?Well, if you haven’t already experienced constipation {my friend is pregnant, too} – you will... and soon. This sentence has been removed for it's graphic nature. The week that I started drinking them, I almost immediately went back todailynormal bowel movements. I just feel better. You know I don’t particularly care for healthy foods, so this is a way for me to get all of the vitamins and minerals my body needs without eating food I hate. I am also anemic. I have to take 2 iron pills a day – but the shakes have iron and fiber as well as protein. So whereas people trying to lose weight REPLACE their meal with the shake, I just drink mine along with my meal if I have one. Most of the time, Michael makes us the coffee flavored shake in the mornings and that’s all I have for breakfast. There have been some days where the baby will hit a growth spurt and I’ll need something to snack on – but I resort to grapes, strawberries, yogurt, etc. (One healthy habit leads to another!)What does my OB {DOCTOR} say?I got her blessing before I ordered them – and she said they would be a great idea. Pregnancy drains your body of all of it’s nutrients for the baby – which is why we feel like POOP. I of course had been feeling awful because of the wreck. Well one day I was in her office in tears because I was so tired of feeling worthless and useless, and just plain tired of it all. Two weeks later I went in for a check-up and she walked in the door and said, “Whoa! Amber, you look so much better – what have you been doing different?” I said, “Nothing.” She said, “Wow, so you had some sort of natural, internal rehabilitation?” I responded with, “I guess so...”So as I’m laying on the exam table I’m trying to think of what I’ve done different since the last time she saw me – then it dawned on me – the SHAKES! So I told her that I’d been drinking the protein shakes every morning for breakfast. I couldn’t believe that she could tell that much of a difference. She said my skin looked better, that I looked more refreshed and just all around better. That was what sold me.FREE Shakes?I know you’ve seen some people say, “Learn how to get your shakes for free!” Well basically all you have to do is get 3 people to sign up for a kit. If you get 3 people to order (which are automatically on auto-ship) then you get yours for free so long as 3 people are continuously ordering shakes. You/they can cancel their order at any time with no penalties or requirements.How do they taste?Well, however you WANT them to taste. There are over 100 different recipes on the website. I have yet to use one of them. Basically all you do is add non-fat milk to the mix and then throw in anything healthy. Fruit, orange juice, almond milk, greek yogurt, sugar free water flavor packets, sugar free jello powder, the health mixers that you can order through ViSalus, instant coffee, peanut butter.... the list goes on and on. You’ll be surprised how few thingscan gohave to go into your blender. The even MORE awesome thing is.. they taste great with just Almond Milk and the mix!A lot of people say, “You mean to tell me that I have to buy the mix AND buy stuff to put in the shakes?” The answer? You don’t HAVE to. But if you don’t have the want-to to buy healthy milk alone or if you don’t already have strawberries, orange juice (the kind that’s good for you – not Sunny D), yogurt – then you’re obviously going to have to commit. Because you’re STILL going to have to EAT and not just drink shakes – and what you eat STILL needs to be healthy. All it takes is commitment.
