Mice, Pizza, & Raspberries, Oh My!

Michael and I took our first trip to Chuck E Cheese today and I have to say, it was pretty successful.  Besides paying $50 for a not-so-great pizza, side salad, and three small drinks - we had loads of fun.  Kambry wasn't so sure of the games at first, but when she stopped and soaked everything in and saw how much FUN the other kiddos were having - she joined right in.  The picture above was a booth where it "sketches" you and then it prints out a hard copy picture.  Not bad for one token!  She road a horse, played the quarter pushing machine, and one of those games where you hit the things that pop up with a mallot.  Definitely putting CEC down as a contender for birthday bash #3.  She was running around from game to game.  Her favorite part?  Putting her "monies" into the slot to start the game.  It was pretty cute!  Between the three of us we had 221 tickets to cash in for a prize.  221 tickets got us a plastic mini slinky, some foam rocket launcher thing, and a single FunDip.  Really?  For 221 tickets?  You have GOT to be kidding me.  Kids get jipped these days!  I couldn't believe we just spent fifty bucks and got $2 worth of a prizes.  Janky I tell you - just completely ridiculous.  It was all worth it watching Kambry run around like a big girl.  She had a blast!  On a side note: Who in the world thought it was a good idea to have the mascot of a pizza place a giant RAT?  Creepy...

---PREGNANCY UPDATE---
This week What To Expect tells me that the baby is the size of a Raspberry. (.5 in long)  Right now, the baby is growing at the rate of one millimeter each day.  I learned last week that it has already gone through THREE sets of kidneys!  The third set is the final set... isn't that crazy?!  They just form and then vanish? Where does it all go?  So many mysteries!  Overall I am feeling okay.  No morning sickness.  Just a lot of fatigue and restless nights.  Of course, it's not very easy to sleep well when you get up 4,587 times to pee.  I am already showing (A LOT!), which makes me wonder if there are two kids cooking.  Michael will PASS OUT!  I wasn't showing this much until almost 4 months with Kambry.  Everyone says you show quicker with your second pregnancy though.  We shall see!  I know one thing, I'm going to do my BEST to not eat everything in sight this time.  I do NOT want to have to lose 60 pounds again!!! I don't think I'll be lucky enough to get a tapeworm again.......nor do I want another one, LOL!

Our first official appointment is Wednesday at 10AM.  We'll have our first sonogram, hear the heartbeat, and go over the "plan" with my new doctor.  FYI family, delivery (which is most likely sometime in mid-late January) will be at Presbyterian of Dallas. So far I absolutely LOVE this hospital and my doctor.  They have been fantastic!  We are hoping for a more pleasant experience with this L&D.

Here's a little peak at the baby bump.  Don't judge, I'm sporting a 'beater and some of Michael's boxers.  It's past my bedtime and I didn't feel like cropping pictures, haha!  As long as the weight-gain stays isolated to my belly, I'll post pictures but the SECOND that it begins to distribute elsewhere - NO MORE.
